Ryanair announces first flights to Malta

Ryanair has opened three new routes to Malta International Airport from London Luton, Pisa and Dublin. According to the budget airline, the opening of these routes is a direct response to the Maltese Government’s initiative to attract low fare airlines to the island.

On a year round basis, Ryanair plans to provide a daily service from London Luton starting on the 31st of October 2006, a three times weekly service from Pisa starting on the 31st of October 2006 and a three times weekly service from Dublin beginning the 9th of February 2007. Fares to these destinations are priced at £30, inclusive of taxes.
