Nildram’s broadband service can still access the Internet while on domestic
vacation simply by using the UK ISP’s backup dialup service.
Nildram says home users can connect using the 0845 (local rate) dial service
while business service users can gain access free of charge by connecting to a
phone line with a dial-up modem and calling the 0808 number. When logging on to
the dial service using an 0845 number, Nildram says subscribers should use
their user name only for the login (i.e. do not include the @gotadsl.co.uk
section of the login).
