Broadband users rates customer service quality in survey

Which? has released the results of a survey that rates the quality of customer service provided by broadband service providers in the UK.

A survey of nearly 15,700 Which? members shows that 34 percent of BT’s, 25 percent of AOL’s and 20 percent of NTL’s customers said they were very satisfied with the service they received.

Zen Internet has received top ratings for its customer service, online and phone support, speed, reliability and for being easy to set up. About 77 percent of Zen users were very satisfied with the company’s overall service, while Global and Waitrose have received a 72 percent approval rating.

The ‘free’ broadband services reviewed by Which? – Sky, Carphone Warehouse and Orange – required users to subscribe to another paid-for service as well as ties up subscribers for a lengthy period.
