Entanet boosts capacity with new 622Mbps central pipe

Jul 24, 2006

Business-to-business ISP Entanet has invested in an additional 622Mbps central pipe in response to growing demand for its broadband connectivity services.

The company currently operates an infrastructure that provides 99% geographical and 100% population coverage in the UK as well as connectivity into western Europe. This comprises a heavily redundant 10 Gigabit network across six major London data centers and 1-10Gbps connections into key London and European exchanges including LONAP, LINX, AMSIX, NL-ix, DE-CIX and SFINX.

Entanet also claims to run data centers at six further key UK city locations, has two large data floors at its Telford headquarters and access to several hundred POPs UK-wide.
