PlusNet packages broadband service with line rental, calls

Jul 6, 2006

PlusNet is offering a bundled ADSL service, which includes landline rental and calls, for a fixed rate of £20.99. Available on all BT exchanges offering the BT IPStream Max service, the package is based on the UK ISP’s PAYG Basic ADSL service and its Wholesale Line Rental (WLR) product.

This new service offers 240 minutes of inclusive calls over the landline, plus free calls to other PlusNet customers via VOIP. The PAYG Basic component features a 50MB allowance plus ₤0.224 per MB of excess usage.

Customers who are not satisfied with 240 minutes of telephone calls can move up the next level with the £29.99 per month package. This bundle covers calls to UK landlines (and 20 other countries) as well as the PlusNet Broadband Plus product that features a 3GB peak time allowance (with no fixed cap at off peak times).
